Euna was born on January 5, 1919, to Henry and Dana (Stephens) Sheppard in Shep, Texas. She grew up in Shep attending Wingate high school. Upon her graduation she met and married J.T. (Jake) McMillon on November 23, 1938. Euna and Jake settled in the Lawn area where he farmed and served as county commissioner for Taylor County for 36 years, and she was a homemaker raising their twin sons, Donald and Ronald.

Euna was a true wife of a farmer and rancher. She always was ready to help with any chore that needed to be taken care of, or any job that needed to be attended to. She kept the tractors running by checking on Jake and the boys while they worked in the fields.

Euna loved to cook, preparing meals for the hungry farm hands and large meals for family gatherings, most of her dishes coming straight from her garden. When not cooking she was often found canning the vegetables from her garden for the upcoming winter months. When the boys got older she would work from time to time at various jobs including cooking for the children at Jim Ned.

Euna was a devoted Christian lady who kept the Lord close to her heart. When not caring for her family she was caring for her church family in Lawn.

Euna McMillon is survived by two sons, Donald McMillon and wife Jean of Abilene, and Ronald McMillon and wife Bobbye of Abilene; sister, Sybil Burch, of Phoenix, Arizona, grandchildren Jeff McMillon and wife Kimberely of Abilene, Holly Moore and husband Clark of Frost, Mark McMillon and wife Wendy of Plano, Matt McMillon and wife Rebecca of Abilene, Marci Phillips and husband John of Mansfield, and twelve great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, J.T McMillon (2009); grandson, Joel Scott McMillon (1975); brothers, H. A. Sheppard Jr., Barney Sheppard, Darwin Sheppard; and sister, Pearl Allred.
