Donna Lynne Satterwhite Taylor

Donna Lynne Taylor passed away on Sunday September 6, 2020 in Abilene, Texas at the age of 61. Donna was born January 5, 1959 in Winters, Texas to Bobby Satterwhite and Jackie (Haswell) Norman. She graduated from Jim Ned High School in 1977 and lived in the Big Country area for her entire life. She found great happiness when she married her soul mate, Jerry Taylor, in August 2003. She enjoyed swimming, gardening, craft projects, and was a lover of all animals, particularly her cats. However, her most favorite thing was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren, and friends. She was a truly kind person and known for her witty sayings, funny stories, and wonderful laugh.

She is preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Jerry Taylor of Abilene, daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Asa Selzer of Fort Worth, son and daughter-in-law, Evan and Brett Tarpley of Fort Worth, three grandchildren, Zoey, Blaine, and Emma (coming soon!) of Fort Worth, stepmother Peggy Satterwhite of Lawn, nieces Alexis Satterwhite of Menifee, California and Hailey Satterwhite of Corpus Christi, and many relatives and friends who will deeply miss her.

Due to the current COVID restrictions and per her wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that memorial contributions be sent to Rescue the Animals / SPCA in Abilene (http://rescuetheanimals.org/donate).
