OVALO YOUTH DIES OF WRECK INJURIES

TUSCOLA (RNS)- Ronnie Lloyd Grun, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Grun of Ovalo, died at 8:25 a.m. Tuesday in Hendrick Memorial Hospital of injuries received May 10 (1964) in an automobile accident two miles south of Ovalo.

Funeral will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday in First Baptist Church here, with the Rev. Jackie Mints, pastor, the Rev. Bob Griffith, pastor of Moro Baptist Church, and the Rev. Charles Ashley, pastor of Bradshaw Baptist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Tuscola Cemetery under direction of Fry Funeral Home.

Born Nov. 5, 1945 in Winters, Ronnie was a senior at Jim Ned High School this year. He served as president of the Future Farmers of America Chapter and was a four-year football letterman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church and was a leader in church youth activities.

Surviving are his parents: two sisters, Rita Joyce and Ora Lolata: two brothers, Patrick Lynn and Eddie Berlon; His grandfather, C. T. McAdams of Odessa, and a number of uncles and aunts.

Members of the 1964 Jim Ned high School graduating class will be selected as pallbearers.

Sharon Wise (Taylor) (1964)

Ronnie was one of the best of us and he's still missed. Will never know how much he could have contributed to mankind had he survived. He is in a better place but he left indelible prints on all his friends.
