Weldon Bouton, 89, died Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Valley View Nursing Home in Anson. Graveside serves will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2018 at Hawley Cemetery, directed by Adams-Graham Funeral Home.

Born June 24, 1929 in Guion, Weldon was a son of the late Walter and Zeffie (Powell) Bouton. He graduated from Lawn High School and served as a private in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict from 1950 to 1952.

Weldon worked as a serviceman for Lone Star Gas Company in Abilene for 37 years until his retirement in 1990. He met and married the love of his life, Mildred Pauline Meissner, June 27, 1953 at the Zion Lutheran Church in Abilene. They moved to Anson in 1963 where he loved to garden and raise animals. Weldon was a good, kind, honest and wonderful man who loved God and his family.

Weldon was preceded in death by a brother (Frank Bouton), two sisters-in-law (Eloise Fritcher Bouton and Nelta Meissner) and two brothers-in-law (James Jacobson and Albert Meissner).

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Mildred Bouton of Anson one son, Gary Bouton (and fiance;, Cheryl Guernsey) of Anson; three daughters, Jeanie McLaren (and husband, Bob), Barbara Blankenship (and husband, Randy) and Tammy Devaney (and husband, Steve) all of Anson; grandchildren, Kristin Swan, Adam Littlefield, Bryan Bouton, Brittney Bouton, Aaron Blankenship, Kayla Blankenship, Lauren Bounds, Stephanie Devaney, Jason Devaney, Lana Davis and Bobbi Lytle; 13 great-grandchildren; two great great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, George Meissner; sister-in-law, Lucille Jacobson and numerous nieces and nephews.
