Lloyd Ray Swindle 83 of Cisco passed away November 10, 2015 at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Funeral Service will be 10 A.M. Saturday November 14, 2015 at New Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church officiated by Reverend Don Martin. Burial with Military Honors to follow at Romney Cemetery under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home of Cisco, Texas. Visitation will be Friday evening 5 P.M. to 7 P.M. at the funeral home chapel.

Lloyd was born November 20, 1931 to David Cason Swindle and Artie Jane (Atkins) Swindle in Tuscola, Texas. He received his Bachelor's degree from Hardin Simmons University. Lloyd was a U.S. Army Veteran serving his country during the Korean Conflict. On February 3, 1956 Lloyd married the love of his life, Kathleen Rich in Cisco. Lloyd and Kathleen celebrated 59 years of marriage in February.

Lloyd worked for many years as a rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service and was a member of the Cisco EX GI Association. He was also a former member of Cisco Lions Club and the Gideon's Organization.

Survivors are his wife Kathleen of Cisco, Daughter: Susan Schaefer and husband Phillip of Cross Plains, Texas. Son: Gregory Mark Swindle and wife Melissa of Arlington, Texas. Grandchildren:

Maddie Vermillion, Meghann Stringer, Cason Swindle, Benjamin Schaefer and wife Ruby, Starla Neighbors and husband Dustin. Great Grandchildren: Trevor and Lena Neighbors, and Kennedy Schaefer. Brothers: Bill Swindle and wife Patsy of Weatherford, Lee Swindle and wife Peggy of Temple, Wayne Swindle of Weatherford. Sister: Sleeta Edwards of Temple, Texas.
