Rondel Wade 'Ronnie' Taylor, son of Frank Neil Taylor and Ivy Muriel Cole and buried in Rogers Cemetery, Ovalo, Taylor County, Texas.


Ovalo--

Rondel Wade Taylor, 55, died Monday at a Dallas hospital.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Tuscola United Methodist Church with the Rev. Wayne Burkey officiating. Burial will be in the Rogers Cemetery, directed by Fry Funeral Home of Tuscola.

Born in Cisco, he moved to Abilene in 1936 and later to Tuscola where he graduated from Jim Ned High School. He moved to Hobbs, N.M. in 1964 and returned to Abilene in 1979.

An electrician in Hobbs, N.M. he worked for Sunshine Advertising Company in Abilene.

He was a methodist.

Survivors include a son, Terry Taylor of Lovington, N.M., a daughter, Karen Ann Taylor of Abilene; his parents, Muriel and Neil Taylor of Ovalo; a sister, Sherry Lynn Taylor of Ovalo; a brother, Larry Lee Taylor of Abilene; and two grandchildren.
