Margie, daughter of John Walter Montgomery and Constance 'Ky' Cook, married to Adolphus Clyde Wright and buried in Dewey Cemetery, Lawn, Taylor County, Texas.


Young Mother Dies At Midland Rites To Be Held at Lawn

Funeral rites will be conducted at Lawn this afternoon for Mrs. Clyde Wright, 22, who died in Ryan hospital, Midland, at 9:45 Tuesday night, 30 minutes after the birth of a son.

Her body was returned yesterday to the home of her mother, Mrs. Constance Montgomery at Lawn, and will lie in state there until the hour of the funeral, 5 p.m.  the service will be held at the Baptist church of Lawn, with the Rev. F. R. Cole, pastor, as officiating minister.  Horton Funeral home of Ovalo is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Wright was reared at Lawn as Addie Montgomery, and was graduated from the high school there.

Since there marriage, the Wrights had lived successively at Albany, Hobbs, N.M., Monahanns and Midland.  Wright is employed there by the Texas Electric company.

Survivors are the husband, the infant son, only child of the couple; Mrs. Wright's mother, and five brothers and sisters, Sgt. Coy C. Montgomeryd, stationed at Boise, Ida., Mrs. M.T. Griffin of Dallas, Dorothy Montgomery of Abilene, Doris and Ray Montgomery of Lawn.  Sergeant Montgomery is en route from Idaho but will not arrive in time for the funeral.
