Roswell Leon Grissom, son of Ocia Crayton Grissom and Vivian Alice Hastings, married to Eris LaNelle Davis and buried in Oakmont Memorial Park Cemetery, Lafayette, Contra Costa County, California.

Was born September 6, 1921 in Texas and passed away August 2, 2006 in Alameda, CA., of the age 84.

He was survived by his loving children: Alanna Summers of Alameda, CA., Charles L. Grissom of Alameda, CA., and Rebecca Bascom of Jamul, CA. His caring sisters are: Eloise Shaffer, Evelyn Baine and Romona and Brother-In Law Ray Miller of Alameda, CA., and Gwen Fowler of Trinity, TX., and the late Linda Fascilla. Roswell is leaving behind his wonderful 5 Grandchildren and 3 Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held Monday, August 7, 2006 at 10:30 A.M. at Greer Family Mortuary, 2694 Blanding Ave., Alameda, CA. Interment will be at Oakmont Memorial Park, Lafayette, CA.
