Edna Reddell Cole went to be with our Lord June 27,2010. Born January 1, 1923 she grew up in Cedar Gap and graduated from Tuscola High School. She married Earl Cole in 1942, he preceded her in death. Edna retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone company after 34 years. She then worked for the Abilene Reporter News and Abilene Regional Hospital. Edna was very active in her church, Southern Hills Church of Christ, and truly loved all the people there. She will be greatly missed by everyone who ever met her. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and is survived by 2 daughters Edna and husband Loren Mussman of Amarillo, Tx, Judy and husband Gary Israel in San Antonio, Tx and 1 son Henry and wife Patsy Cole in Jacksonville, Texas. Six grandchildren Pam Wright and Troy Mussman of Amarillo, Texas, Vicki and husband Steve, Lotito Jamie and husband Mike Moore of Jacksonville, Tx, Gari and husband Bobby Horton, and Carl and wife Krysti Israel of San Antonio, Texas. She also leaves behind 11 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday July 10,2010 at Southern Hills Church of Christ.
The family wishes to thank all her friends at Southern Hills Church of Christ who have cared for Edna and gave her such pleasure.
