Johnnie Mae Pounders Goin, daughter of Rothmer Dean Pounders and Claudia Ad Thackston, married to Chester Eugene Goin and buried in Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Odessa, Ector County, Texas.

Johnnie Goin, age 96, passed from this life on Saturday, May 22, 2010 at Sienna Nursing and Rehab Center in Odessa. She was born in Cross Plains, TX on Thursday, May 29, 1913 to Rothmer D. and Claudia (Thackston) Pounders. She was a Ward Secretary for Medical Center Hospital.

Survivors include her husband: C.E. Goin of Odessa; one son: M.R. Ray Herrington of Odessa; and one daughter: Diane Branch of Odessa.

Graveside services will take place 2:00 pm Monday, May 24, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Acres West Funeral Chapel
