Ricky Lee Walters, 62, passed away on May 22, 2022, in Abilene, Texas.

He was born, June 25, 1959, to Calwyn and Ellen Walters, in Abilene, Texas. Ricky was raised in Moro, Texas, where he learned to farm, perform mechanics, and drive big trucks. He did all the things that country boys do with family and friends.

He was an excellent welder but was a trucker at heart. That was his passion, and he loved nothing more than to climb up in his big truck and hit the road.

For the past almost 12 years, he worked at Taylor County's Precinct 3 Barn in Buffalo Gap, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his mother, paternal grandparents, maternal grandparents, and other family members.

Ricky is survived by his wife, Machelle; father, Calwyn; children: Brandon (Amanda), Tyler (Cynthia), Kyle (Stephanie), and Tanner (Muna); stepson, John Luke; 8 grandchildren: Emily, Hannah, Carly, Jayleigh, Kynlee, Adlyn, Kyson and Kaetlyn; siblings: Donald (Debbie) and Tammy (Al); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, in-laws, and some great friends.
