Sybil or granny as she was fondly known, loved golf, basketball, bowling, the outdoors, and spending time with family. As an accomplished golfer she completed in and won many tournaments in her long career in the Springfield golf scene. She was also an avid Lady Bears Basketball fan, many times traveling across the country to root on her favorite team. And in 1956 she was a member of the State Championship bowling team. But most of all Granny loved to be with her family. She traveled frequently to be with her sister, brother, or her grandchildren as they moved away. She had a wonderful life with her husband f nearly 70 years and made a difference in many people's lives. She will be sorely missed but is now walking with Jesus and reunited with many loved ones.
