COLORADO CITY -  Elner L. Swann, 84, formerly of Colorado City, died Wednesday in a Midland care center.

Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Loraine Cemetery, directed by Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.

Mrs. Swann was born in Callahan County and also formerly lived in Abilene.  She was a cafeteria worker for the Abilene school district and Abilene State School.  She was a Baptist and was the widow of "Bud" Swann, whom she married in 1938 in Las Cruces, N.M.

Survivors include for daughters, Glenda Giesler of Midland, Claudine Owens of Abilene, Gay Masters of Spring and Mary Franklin of Austin; three sons, Smokey Swann of Odessa, George Swann of Premont and Bill Swann of Soda Springs, Idaho; one brother, Arman G. Buchanan of San Angelo; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
