Carolyn was born in Abilene, Texas to Charles and Sue Humphrey on May 4, 1963. Carolyn attended Wylie schools and graduated from Jim Ned High School in 1981. She married the love of her life, Robert Gleason, on December 16, 1981 in Taylor County. Of all things she did in her life, the most endearing was being a wife, mother and "Foofoo" to her grandchildren. Carolyn was a friend to everyone; she was such a giver. You could always count her in on any opportunity to help someone. She was a member of Bluff Creek Cowboy Church where she taught ladies bible study and worked in children's ministry.

Carolyn was preceded in death by parents Charles and Sue Humphrey, brother Charles David Humphrey, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Carolyn is survived by her husband Robert Gleason, daughters Kayla Williams husband Kelsey, Laura Gwinn husband Waylon; sons Matt Gleason wife Sheridan, and Jake Gleason; grandchildren Tyler, Kylie, Evelyn, Tanner, Preslie, Cash, Easton, Landry, Ace, Pryce and Tate; sister Connie McCoy and husband Chuck, and their children Taylor, Abigail and Ella; as well as numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Matt Gleason, Jake Gleason, Waylon Gwinn, Kelsey Williams, Tyler Hussman and Tanner Hussman will serve as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Cash and Easton Gwinn, Ace, Pryce, and Tate Gleason, Curtis Jackson, Ricky Hussman, Chance Gleason, Scott Boulter, Kenny Smith, Bob Shea, Mike Pueschel, Taylor Insall and Chuck "Chip" McCoy.

Carolyn fought every day for 8 years to be with her family. Cancer does not care who it takes or who it hurts but our mother stood strong and faced many battles fighting cancer. In the end, Faith and Love win, not cancer.

"To one who has Faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without Faith, no explanation is possible."

In lieu of flowers please give donations in Carolyn's name to your favorite local charities or Cancer Services Network.
