Flora Jeannette Elkins Munn

(February 6, 1944 ~ March 26, 2018)

GAINESVILLE--Flora Jeannette Munn, 74, of Gainesville passed away Monday, March 26, 2018, in Denison. FUNERAL: 2 p.m. Thursday, March 29, 2018, at the First Baptist Church in Gainesville with Dr. Jeff Langley and Dr. Bennie Slack officiating. Burial follows in the Fairview Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Home.

 

Flora was born Feb. 6, 1944, in Brownwood to Robert Jackson and Roxie Bowles Elkins. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and a member of the Belle Moon and Gainesville chapters of the Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Munn was preceded in death by her parents.

 

SURVIVORS: Flora is survived by her husband, Joe Munn of Gainesville; daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and James Wood of Sanger; grandchildren, Tiffany, Christopher, Amber, Alex, and Faith; several great-grandchildren; brothers, Robert V. Elkins of Tuscola and Jim Elkins of Brownwood. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
