Donald Joseph 'Don' Wilder

Donald Joseph 'Don' Wilder, son of Raymond O. 'Buck' Wilder and Wilma Dee Self and buried in Texas State Veterans Cemetery, Abilene, Taylor County, Texas.

Donald Joseph Wilder, age 70, passed away December 26, 2014 at a local hospital.

He was born January 3, 1944 in Winters, Texas to Raymond and Wilma Self Wilder.

Donald worked at Wilder Tire Company for many years and served in the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Christy Dawn Wilder and brother, Tommy Wilder.

Survivors include his grandsons, Aaron Johnson and Colton Williams; brother and sister-in-law, Fred and LaRita Wilder; former wife, Sue Stice Posey; step-son, Shane Davis and several nieces and nephews.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
