Freddie, son of Fredrick Franklin 'Frank' White, Sr. and Nora Faye Wells, married to Bonnie Jean Linebery and buried in White Family Cemetery, Tuscola, Taylor County, Texas.


Freddie White, 52, died Tuesday, January 2, 2007, at an Abilene medical center.

Born on April 16, 1954 in El Paso, Texas, Freddie was the son of Nora (Wells) and Fredrick F. White, Sr. He had been a resident of Tuscola all of his life. Freddie was a diesel mechanic for New Holland for 14 years.

An excellent husband and dad, Freddie's life was the epitome of what some call "the good life" - a life full of love, family and friends. His loving and caring ways became apparent when one first met him. Freddie was a man of many talents, always willing to share his knowledge. He was always strong when necessary and caring when the time arose. He would give one the shirt off of his back, regardless of when or where, to make sure that his family was fine. His great love of the outdoors also characterized his love of life and his respect for nature.

Survivors include his wife, Bonnie White of Tuscola; two sons, Lyle White and wife, Catherine, and Kyle White and wife, Stephanie, all of Tuscola; and grandchildren, Levi White, Cole White, Jake White, and Mackenzie White. He is also survived by his parents, Nora and Frank White, Sr. of Tuscola; a brother, Dennis White and wife, Vickie, of Bradshaw; and a sister, Debbie Buck and husband, Norman, of Burleson.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Hwy 277 South officiated by Jimmy Wylie. Interment will be private. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Lyle White, Kyle White, Cody White, Randy Vinson, Shorty King and Dennis White will serve as pallbearers.
