La Trelle Blackwood Riddle

(September 14, 1929 ~ April 3, 1995)

La Trelle Blackwood Riddle, daughter of Roy Ernest Blackwood and Allie M. Nason, married to Doyle Eugene Riddle and buried in McBee Cemetery, Ovalo, Taylor County, Texas.

Tuscola - La Trelle Blackwood Riddle, 65, died Monday at her home in Hurst.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday in Tuscola First United Methodist Church with the Rev. J.B. Fowler officiating.  Burial will be in McBee Cemetery, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home.

Mrs. Riddle was born in Tuscola, where she attended school.  She attended Draughon's Busines College and married Doyle Riddle in 1949 in Tuscola.  She was a homemaker.  She lived in Abilene, Wichita Falls, and Matador before moving to Hurst in 1967.  She was a member of the Serendipity Club in Arlington and Hurst First United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, of Hurst, two daughters, Rhonda Riddle of Haltom City and Kimberly Riddle of Hurst, one son, Ricky Riddle of Hurst; one sister, Faith Bellew of Abilene; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
