Robert Glenn Clements, 78, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, June 21, 2010. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday at Fielder Road Baptist Church in Arlington. Interment: Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Moore Funeral Home.

Robert was born Sept. 20, 1931, in Abilene. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. He was a member of the Lions Club, the Gideons and Women's Council of Realtors. He was an usher and deacon at his church. Robert worked as an escrow officer for title companies, handled warranties at Vandergriff Chevrolet and assisted with funerals at Moore Funeral Home. He was a dedicated man serving God and being a Christian example to those around him.
 
Survivors: His wife of 59 years, Mary; children, James, Gary, Dian, Richard and Barbara; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and six step great-grandchildren.
