I was in a class of only twenty, five girls and 15 boys on that 1967 Senior Trip to Padre Island. We had a wonderful time, with only a few incidents. We all fondly miss the ones who have gone before us from our class: Mickey Sansom, Rick Roderick, and Randy Ragsdale. Our class would not have been the same without those three creative and clowning and loyal friends. It seemed to me all the men of our class were "bigger than life" to us girls, we all played and laughed a lot together, and had small clashes, but we stuck together. Pete Kendall and Darrell Cross and David Templeton "rocked" in band with me, Rick took off from everything (especially school) during the World Series every Fall, David Aldridge-Mickey Sansom-Randy Ragsdale,-Butch Graham-Randy Ragsdale-Ronnie Bethel all drove too fast/and or "knew too many parties" and way too many girls, Sharon was our Cheerleader, Dinah and Jacquie were our Basketball Stars, Glenda and I were good at Track and Field, Darrell-Pete-David-and Butch were good in all classes, Mickey and Rick were our class clowns and great in our drama and plays. We all had a part in the life of the class of 1967 and mostly we all were great friends.
