Mary, daughter of Tolbert Fannin Stewart and Pearl Beatrice Wilson, married to George Raymond Dick and buried in Cedar Gap Cemetery, Tuscola, Taylor County, Texas.

Mary was the daughter of Tolbert Fannin Stewart and Pearl Beatrice Wilson. She married George Raymond Dick, 17 Oct 1942, right before he went to the south Pacific in WWII. After her husbands return from the war, they moved to the Potosi area and farmed.
In 1950, after buying land, they moved to the Cedar Gap area and settled there. She bore six children. Four boys (George Jr, Danny, Frank and Bartley) and two girls (Mary and Deana). All six kids graduated from Jim Ned and she has had seven grandchildren to graduate or attend school at Jim Ned. She has four great-grand children that have attended there and two are still attending school at JN.

Marriage of Mary Tolberta Stewart, daughter of Evangelist and Mrs. T. E. Stewart of Tuscola, and George Raymond Dick, son of Raymond Dick of Oplin, was read at twilight Oct. 9 in the home of the bride's parents.
Evangelist C. G. Snodgrass Church of Christ minister, read the ring ceremony.
The bride wore a floor-length dress of pastel pink satin and carried a bouquet of mixted flowers.
The bride attended Abilene schools and was graduated from the Tuscola high school.
Dick, grandson of the late Bart Dickson of Oplin, is in the United States navy. He was returned to his station at the Great Lakes training center.
