Jimmy Don 'Moon' Mullings

(November 21, 1956 ~ January 29, 2025)

Jimmy, son of John Raymond Mullings and Maranda LeNora Collins, married to Lou Ann Grant.  Cremation was chosen.

Jimmy Don “Moon” Mullings, 68, of Needville, Texas passed away on January 29, 2025 surrounded by his loved ones in Sugar Land, Texas. He was born on November 21, 1956 in Seagraves, Texas to John Raymond Mullings and Maranda LeNora Collins Mullings.

Jimmy is preceded in death by brothers Paul Raymond Mullings, William GR Mullings, London Ray Mullings, Jerry Mac Author Mullings, Terry Lynn Mullings and sister Nora Ellen Mullings King.

Survivors include his wife, Lou Ann Mullings; son, Casey Ray Mullings and wife Christy; daughters, Brooke Lea Schmidt and husband Glenn, and Brittany Ann Mullings; brothers, Ed and Henry Mullings; sisters, Lilly Taylor and Betty Mullings; grandchildren, Jenna Renae Baird, Brady Ray Mullings, Rean Jean Mullings, Avery Miranda Schmidt, Grant Hampton Schmidt, and Gregory Robert Schmidt; along with numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A service celebrating Jimmy’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, January 31, 2025 at Grace Community Fellowship, 12616 Hwy 36, Needville, Texas 77461.
