Lettie Edwards Frymire, 86, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018 in Abilene, Texas.

The daughter of Ophelia (Major) Edwards and Walter Howard Edwards, Lettie was born on April 4, 1932 in Geronimo, Oklahoma, and graduated from South Taylor High School in Tuscola. After her marriage to Harold D. Frymire, she was a homemaker and worked for a time at the watch factory in Abilene and also for a time at the Tire Test Track Southeast of Pecos, Texas. She was heavily involved in volunteer work at Abilene Regional Medical Center.

Lettie was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her husband, Harold D. Frymire of Abilene; two sons, David Frymire and wife Lesley of Austin, and Roger Frymire of Abilene; and three sisters, Barbara Wallgren of Fort Worth, Patricia Edwards of Abilene and Sherry Thompson of Austin.

Visitation will be 5:00pm to 7:00pm Wednesday, October 31, at The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road, Abilene. Funeral services will be 1:30pm Thursday, November 1, in The Hamil Family Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. David Murrah officiating. Burial will follow in Dewey Cemetery.

The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Lettie's name to West Texas Rehabilitation Center, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, TX 79605.
