Gertrude Mae Pope, 93, of Tracy died Sunday at her daughter's hope.

Mrs. Pope was a native of Indian Territory, Okla.  She lived in Tracy 11 years and in Kermit, Texas, prior to moving to Tracy.  She was a homemaker.  She was a charter member of the United Methodist Church in Kermit, and an associate member of First United Methodist Church, Tracy.

She is survived by her childred, Elouise Chestnut of Wintera, Texas, Milton Pope of Granbury, Texas, and Glenda R. Speed of Tracy; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

Private services will be held in Texas.  Inturment will be private.  Hotchkiss Mortuary in charage of arrangements.
