Marx, son of Thad Exall Edwards and Meachel Millie White, married to Jean Clark and buried in Woodlawn Cemetery, Houston, Harris County, Texas.

Born March 13, 1929, in Tuscola, Texas, Marx W. Edwards was the son of Meachel and Thad Edwards. Upon graduation from Tuscola High School in 1945, he moved to Houston, Texas, to begin his lengthy and distinguised banking carer. Marx Edwards is described by his friends, family and past co-workers as honorable, loyal and someone who can be trusted. He passed away on June 16, 2008, at 4:50 a.m., in a Houston hospital.
He is survived by his wife, Jean C. Edwards; his childred Michael Edwards, Judy Nelson and Robin Bowles; his grandshildren, Jim Edwards, Jade Edwards-Ewan, Zemia Garrett, Sarah Bowles and Blake Bowles; and his great-grandchildren, Noah Garrett, Emma Edwards, and Riley Edwards.
He was a cousin/nephew of Marceille McIntyre. Some other Taylor County relatives are Joretta Garner, Winona Brewer, Van Josey, Kay Loppencott, Jean Davis, Mary Davis of Winters and Billy McClure of Coleman.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Jun 19 at 11:00 a.m., in the chaple of Woodlawn Funeral Home, Houston. Jean Marsh, daughter of Marceille, attended the services, as did Grace Mulloy of Round Rock and her daughter, Sandy Ott of Elgin.
