Elta "Pat" Patterson Lyons, age 94, of Abilene, Texas, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018, in Abilene.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 23, 2018, at the Dewey Cemetery south of Lawn, Texas with Penny Biddy of the Brook Hollow Christian Church, officiating. Services are under the direction of The Hamil Family Funeral Home, 6449 Buffalo Gap Road.

Pat was born July 18, 1924 in Lawn to the late Charles Jesse and Nettie (Hefley) Patterson. She graduated from Lawn High School and from the Abilene Beauty School. She and Earl Lyons were married on January 1, 1944, in Abilene. He preceded her in death in 1988. Pat worked as a hairdresser until she retired in 1993.

Pat is survived by one daughter, Rita Krieger and husband Eddie of Abilene; two grandchildren, Chuck Krieger of Dallas, Texas and Trisha Chase and husband Eric of New Braunfels, Texas; and two great grandchildren, Addison Chase and Parker Chase both of New Braunfels.
