Brasil, son of James Dodson Riddle and Eddie Margaret Dennis, married Ethel Mamie Landers and buried in McBee Cemetery, Ovalo, Taylor County, Texas.

TUSCOLA (RNS) - Brasil W. Riddle, 81, of Ovalo died at 6 a.m. Friday at Hendrick Memorial Hospital after a long illness.  Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Ovalo Baptist Church.

The Rev. F.R. Cole, Baptist pastor from Abilene, the Rev. George Caffey, also of Abilene, and the Rev. Don Patillo, pastor of Ovalo Baptist Church, will officiate.  Burial will be in McBee Cemetery under direction of Fry Funeral Home.

Mr. Riddle was born March 19, 1892, at Valley Mills and moved to Taylor County in 1905, where he married Ethel Landers in February, 1920.  He was a stock farmer and a World War I veteran.

He was a member of the Ovalo Baptist Church and the Masonic Lodge.

Survivors are his wife; a son, Royce of Ovalo, two sisters, Mrs. Paul Copeland of Lawn and Mrs. Ella Hawkins of Dallas; two brothers, H.L. and Virgil, both of Ovalo and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be G.C. Cross, K.C. Roberson, J.W. Allmand, J.P. McMillan, Gordon Boulter and C.A. Fomby.
