William Travis Barnett

(August 24, 1928 ~ January 16, 1987)

William, son of William Green Barnett and Myrtle Holstone, married to Miladene Marie 'Mitzi' Musick and buried in Greenwood Cemetery, Fort Worth, Tarrant County, Texas.

William Travis Barnett, 58, a technical writer, died Friday at a Greenville hospital after a heart attack.

Funeral will be 1 p.m. Saturday at Peter's Funeral Home in Greenville.  Burial will be 4 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Memorial Park Cemetery in Fort Worth.

Barnett was born in Wingate and moved to Fort Worth in 1966 from Greenville.  He was a technical writer for 25 years and was on assignment at E-Systems in Greenville for about a year.  He was a Mason and the Westcliff United Methodist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Mitzi Musick Barnett of Fort Worth; two sons, Rex Barnett of Austin and Andy Barnett of Fort Worth; one daughter Mitra Owen of Fort Worth; and two grandchildren.
