Aurelia, daughter of Alla Purl Sanford and Vera Mae Dulin, married to Elmon Allen Kerby, Jr. and buried in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Comanche, Comanche County, Texas. 


COMANCHE - Aurelia Nathelia Kerby, 75, of North Richland Hills died Thursday, Sept. 12, in Manor Care Health Services in North Richland Hills.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 14, in Comanche Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Matt Hall officiating. Burial was in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.

Mrs. Kerby was born March 13, 1927, in Nolan, the daughter of A.P. Sanford and Vera (Dulin) Sanford. She was a homemaker and a member of First United Methodist Church in Comanche.

She was married to Elmon Allen Kerby Jr. on June 2, 1946, in Tuscola. He preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1999.

Survivors include three sons, Steve Alan Kerby and wife Mona of New Windsor, Md., Dave Sanford Kerby of Norman, Okla., and Kenneth Elmon Kerby and wife Diana of North Richland Hills; four grandchildren, Crystal Robin Kerby, Jonathan Kerby, Kristen Kerby and Madison Kerby; and two sisters, Eunice Rosson of Comanche and Ouida Starks of Fort Worth.

Memorials may be made to the charity of choice.
