Waymon McNeil Todd, son of Ira McNeil Todd and Minnie Mae Carter, married to Eleanor Lucille Johnson and buried in Chapel of Chimes Memorial Park Cemetery, Hayward, Alameda Co., California.

Waymon McNeil Todd Jan. 26, 1922 - Dec. 12, 2011 Pleasanton, California A longtime resident of San Lorenzo, Waymon M. Todd passed away peacefully on Monday, December 12, 2011 at the Livermore Veterans Nursing Home where he had lived for the past 6 years. Waymon was born in Altus, Oklahoma and raised in Texas. In 1941 he enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country until his medical discharge in 1947. In 1948 he married Eleanor Johnson and settled in Alameda where they had 2 daughters. Waymon received his BA in Accounting from Armstrong College in 1950. In 1954 the Todd family moved to San Lorenzo where they resided for 52 years. Waymon was self-employed for most of his adult life having owned Todd's Sliding Door Co., Todd's River Club, and Todd's Real Estate. He was active in the Hayward elks Lodge, serving as their Exalted Ruler in 1975. He loved to travel, dance and pursue his passion of flying. Waymon was predeceased by his wife of 45 years. He is survived by daughters, Christine Todd and Julie Lindgren, sister Jean Fields, grandson Todd Lindgren, Livermore, son-in-law Vince Lindgren, granddaughter-in-law Melanie Lindgren, and longtime companion Addie Peters. No service is planned.
