Mildred Clovis Gill Puckett

Mildred, daughter of Billy Mosley Gill and Ella Lee Strickland, married to Hollis Leon Puckett and buried in Trinity Memorial Park Cemetery, Big Spring, Howard County, Texas.

BIG SPRING - Mildred Gill Puckett, 77, of the Luther community, died Sunday, Aug. 25, 1996, in a Fort Worth hospital.

Service will be at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday in Nalley-Pickle & Welch Rosewood Chapel with burial in Trinity Memorial Park.

She was born Sept. 11, 1918, in Bradshaw.  She was an employee of the Big Spring Independent School District as a cashier supervisor for 21 years before retiring and the Bethel Baptist Church of Luther.

Survivors include her husband, Hollis Puckett of Luther; a son, Horace Earl Puckett of Austin; a daughter, Ocoee Moore of Big Spring; two brothers, Melvin Gill of Palm Desert, Calif., and Bill Gill of Ruidoso, N.M.; three grandchildren; a great-grandson; and several nieces and nephews.
