Hazel Ludelle Wade Roberson
(June 25, 1921 ~ August 9, 1997)
Ludelle, daughter of Author Robert Wade and Zella Lavenia Patton, married to Jerroed Vaughn Roberson and buried in Dewey Cemetery, Lawn, Taylor County, Texas.
Ludelle Wade Roberson, 76, a native of Lawn, died Saturday in Lake Charles, La.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Hixson Funeral Home Chapel in Lake Charles with the Rev. Dan Flowers officating. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in Dewey Cemetery near Lawn with the Rev. Price Mathieson officating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home, 542 Hickory.
Mrs. Roberson was born in Lawn and was a longtime resident of Lake Charles. She was a homemaker and a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Lake Charles, where she was a Sunday school teacher for 30 years. She was active in International Seamen's Ministry through Carey Baptist Association. She was a member of Order of the Eastern Star chapter in Winters.
Survivors include her husband, J.V. Roberson of Lake Charles; two sons, Robert A. Roberson of Colleyville and J.Dwight Roberson of College Park, Md.; one daughter, Marcha (Mrs. David) Talton of Claremont, Calif.; and six grandchildren.

The family will be at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday.
