Gaytha Raye Goodloe Hightower, daughter of John Prentice Goodloe and Sally Prudence Jones, married to Troy Allen Hightower and buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Cisco, Eastland County, Texas.

Gaytha Raye Hightower, 77, a resident of Cisco since 1975, died Wednesday, November 10, 2021 in a Willow Park care center. Born July 23, 1944 in San Saba, she was the daughter of the late John Prentice Goodloe and Sally Prudence Jones Goodloe. She graduated from high school in Tuscola, Texas. She married Troy Hightower December 1, 1961. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker and was Baptist.

Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and six siblings, Mabel Ruth, Noel, Modene, Nila Dean, Wayne and Norvis H. Goodloe.  She is survived by two children, Vonda Stockton and husband Allen Laing of Weatherford and Corey Hightower and wife Angie of Weatherford; a sister, Joyce Ragland of San Saba; and three grandchildren, Janice Stockton, Madison Hightower, and Tori Hightower.

A graveside service is planned for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco, Texas under the direction of Colonial Funeral Home of Irving, 606 West Airport Freeway 75062.
