Ed, son of Raymond Edgar Landers, Sr. and Mildred Marie McAdams, married to Bessie Lou Rogers and buried in Azleland Memorial Park Cemetery, Reno, Parker County, Texas.

LAKE WORTH - Raymond Edgar 'Ed' Landers, Jr., 72, a custodian for Northwest Church of Christ, died Wednesday, March 31, 1999, at a Fort Worth hospital.

Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Northwest Church of Christ.  Burial: Azeland Memorial Park.  Visitation: 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Raymond Edgar 'Ed' Landers Jr. was born Nov. 3, 1926, in Taylor County.  He had been a resident of Lake Worth for 37 years.  He was a member of Northwest Church of Christ and was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Susie.

Survivors:  Wife of 43 years, Bessie Landers of Lake Worth; son, Stephen Landers and his wife, cindy, of Lake Worth: daughters, Julie Landers of Lake Worth and Janna Campbell and her husband, Anthony, of Fort Worth; brother, R.B. Landers of Grand Prairie; sisters, Peggy Horton of Tuscon, Ariz. and Janice Rine of Lawn; and grandchildren, Ashley and Alex Landers.
