Annie Lorraine Anderson Stephens

(October 10, 1925 ~ February 19, 2010)

Annie, daughter of John Newton Anderson and Pearl Annie Graham, married to James W. 'Jim' 'Tuck' Stephens and buried in Tuscola Cemetery, Tuscola, Taylor County, Texas.

Katy - Annie Lorraine Anderson Stephens, 84, passed away Friday, Feb. 19, 2010.  Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 21, 2010, at Tuscola Cemetery with the Rev. Michael Berry officiating, directed by Fry-Bartlett Funeral Home in Tuscola.

Annie was born in Tuscola, Oct. 10, 1925, to John and Pearl Graham Anderson.  She grew up in Tuscola and married her high school sweetheart, Jim 'Tuck' Stephens Oct. 27, 1942.  She and Jim were married 67 years.  They lived in Tuscola, Midland, San Angelo and Victoria.

Annie was known by everyone to have a fantastic "green thumb."  She could grow anything!  She loved to work in her flower beds and was envied by everone.  She was a Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents and 1 son, Jerry Stephens.

Annie is survived by her husband James W. "Tuck" Stephens; 2 sons, Mike Stephens and wife Maria of Highlands and Steve Stephens and wife Bernadette of Katy; 7 grandchildren, Kyle, Jim Paul, Ann, Brandi, Stephania, Chris, and Stormy; 1 sister, Mickey Knott and husband Robert of Tuscola; and many great-grandchildren, nephews and nieces.
